Ugh, hot coffee on a warm morning just makes me start to sweat earlier in a day than I'm going to. It's going to be a hot one today (actually hot, not just bay area hot).
Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.

I used to drink hot coffee in 95 degree SC weather because I’m a masochist addict apparently.

Fair play. I would let it cool, personally, but I'm not here to heat-shame you.

Usually she'll say something like, its almost 9, are you coming in. Ill check the time and say its only 715. Then she accuses me of arguing and there you go.

I don't know whether this is a medical urban myth or not, but I've long heard hot beverages on a hot day makes it seem less hot outside because your inside temperature increases. I suspect it's bullshit.

I’d kill for that right now. Perfect day for a caramel frap.

When I was in England last, it was hot as hell out, and we went to high tea. It was actually pretty satisfying to drink some hot tea on such a hot day. Under shade, of course, but still very hot. I may have felt differently if the sun was blasting me.

I love black coffee piping hot. Not good for the coffee sweats while it's warm but need to fuel that addiction.
