Re: Thread of Dreams
I think I can out-revbob here and say that I like zero Elton John songs. I'd rather listen to KISS.

Re: Thread of Dreams
Probably a tie, there's EJ songs I hate and EJ songs that could send me into a murderous rage. Those are the two categories I have reserved for his songs. I find the more recent stuff falls into the latter.Dr. Medulla wrote: ↑17 Aug 2020, 6:32pmI think I can out-revbob here and say that I like zero Elton John songs. I'd rather listen to KISS.
And yes if crab juice isnt an option Id pick Kiss

Re: Thread of Dreams
My Elton list is short but sweet
Goodbye Yellow Brick Road
Philadelphia Freedom
Rocket Man
Song for Guy
The rest of his catalogue I wouldn't care if I never heard again.

There is no room for people who make exceptions in this rowboat. Times like these demand drawing lines in the sand and rowboat manifests.Heston wrote: ↑17 Aug 2020, 7:22pmI have his corpse in a suitcase, we need to dump it at sea.

Glad you didn’t include Tiny Dancer, when did that suddenly become everyone’s favourite EJ song.

Yes, that annoys me too. Ed Sheeran isn't blameless here.101Walterton wrote: ↑17 Aug 2020, 8:00pmGlad you didn’t include Tiny Dancer, when did that suddenly become everyone’s favourite EJ song.

Re: Thread of Dreams
Shouldn't we be blaming Bernie Taupin for these songs? He's the one who wrote the lyrics, Elton just wrote the music. At least that's what that movie VH dragged me to said.Dr. Medulla wrote: ↑17 Aug 2020, 8:15pmOkay, out of the fucking boat.
