The Ultimate Women's Album - Side 2 Track 2 Vote - Round 1a
Leaving behind the recent unpleasantness, we renew our vows by voting.

two votes of the heart, not the head: bow wow wow - a band that always brings an absolutely playful smile to my face - and garbage, whomst i wouldn't think to ever nominate but this song gets a certain nostalgic glow from me that i found myself unable to resist.
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a bowl of soup
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a rolling hoop
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a ton of lead
Wiggle - you can raise the dead
Pex Lives!

Love the Garbage song and Dionne's Walk On By is perfect.
There's a tiny, tiny hopeful part of me that says you guys are running a Kaufmanesque long con on the board

Ended up going with these two as well. Hadn't heard the BWW song before, but I was surprised with how much I enjoyed it. Not my favorite song from Garbage, but I got a similar nostalgic soft spot for it as well.
Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.

Voted Dione Warwick but in hindsight I probably voted more for the song. It is one of my favourites but this isn’t my favourite version.

Dionne and Garbage for me. I love Bowwowwow but they have much better songs.

Voted for the Divinyls and Garbage. Human On the Inside is one of my favorite songs and vidoes from the 90's.

I've run into the problem of best songs (in this case from Bow Wow Wow but also for Bush Tetras, Joan Jett, the Interrupters, and Suzi Quatro) lining up track numbers versus other competitors.

Yeah if you pick a single there is more of a chance others may know the song. Album tracks have less of a chance.gkbill wrote: ↑25 Aug 2020, 10:47pmHello,Marky Dread wrote: ↑25 Aug 2020, 1:40pmDionne and Garbage for me. I love Bowwowwow but they have much better songs.
