The Ultimate Women's Album - Side 2 Track 2 Vote - Round 2

Post by Dr. Medulla »

Sorry for the slight delay in getting Round 2 up (tech issues not related to this). Anyway, five songs make it to Round 2 as Polly Jean and Chrissie tied for second in their round. Based on the Round 1 results overall, it doesn't look like a clear favourite, so bribery and threats—the hallmarks of real elections—are warranted. As James Madison said in one of the Federalist papers, "If you ain't cheatin', you ain't tryin', you damned Moravian scoundrel!"
"I never doubted myself for a minute for I knew that my monkey-strong bowels were girded with strength, like the loins of a dragon ribboned with fat and the opulence of buffalo dung." - Richard Nixon, Checkers Speech, abandoned early draft

huh, two of the four tracks i voted for got through to the next round (a rare display of good sense on this board) but neither of the two i voted for that i felt were strongest. gonna have to give this one a think, or hear a good case for one of these.
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a bowl of soup
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a rolling hoop
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a ton of lead
Wiggle - you can raise the dead

So the recent political rantings of Ms Hynde have turned me off her music. I cast my vote for PJ

 Pulling that out as a response has grown more and more favourable to me.

My nomination was My City Was Gone but I'm secretly hoping PJ wins for the arguments about whether it violates rule 1 :)

Nothing wrong with voting tactically.
