Thought for the day - that 100 Club gig took place on a tuesday - presumably just after the Notting Hill Carnival weekend, which inspired White Riot.

Another early one I've remastered again.

Now with the correct date on the artwork (thanks CDS). Correct song titles and of course a better mix.

I love the way Joe uses a toy gun after he sings "if I was dead" on "Medicine Cabinet".

Also you can just about make out Joe saying in a sinister voice over the transistor radio intro "You are a policeman" "you are white".

I echo this, and apologise that I haven't been able to post my thanks for a few days. Thanks.
Edited. I'd fucked up and took the 'M' out of Marky. A mistake, not something I'd willingly do.

I'm really enjoying this thread, not just for offering upgrades, but also flagging up shows that have been bootlegged for years but passed me by. Such as those gigs on the 1983 US mini-tour - I've no idea why.
I listened to San Antonio earlier and enjoyed it so much it inspired me to dig out the Wichita Falls show (Marky''s version in this thread, dated 2018 unless there's a more recent version?) Great sound, especially nice on headphones with the stereo audience vibe; band really on form, a few rare tracks, and the crowd are well into it on both shows. It's a bit like the Mogador show recently shared here. Party with the Clash.
Thanks Marky. Again.

Yes I have always loved those 83 shows which have such a vibrant atmosphere. Some good recordings too made all the better thanks to Marky.

Yeah Heston has suggested in 1983 the band should've released a live album from those shows. I agree it would've been a cracker.

Hello,

Thanks again, Marky! This show has a different feel to me - more of a disjointed affair than an adrenaline rush kind of gig. It's really interesting because of that. Great work!
