This came to mind because I ordered a wallet for this damned phone. I love the one I have for my iPod—nice and compact, holds my various plastic cards. Had a hard time finding anything that does the same for the phone but gave one a shot. I put it altogether and, mainly because the stupid size of the phone, it looked distinctly like a woman's pocketbook. I told the Boss, I'm not popular enough to carry a ladies wallet. She didn't get the reference, but I returned it nonetheless. I ended up getting a regular skin and then a neat compact card holder.

Re: The Simpsons
Ni asked what I would be making for dinner.
"Steamed hams."
"What?" a look like I've gone me tal.
"Burgers. Like the Simpsons. When Skinner has Chalmers round for dinner?"
"Don't remember that one."
I recited the entire scene, flawlessly, like a Shakespearean actor would remember (leaving out the part about Aurora Borealis) and we both laughed hysterically.

With the exception of a few lines—e.g., "There's your answer, fishbulb"; "He thinks he's one of the Models Inc."; "Eh, no, Peg"—neither does The Boss.Kory wrote: ↑11 Sep 2020, 4:49pmYou're lucky, Maggie doesn't really like the Simpsons a whole lot.Silent Majority wrote: ↑11 Sep 2020, 2:53amNi asked what I would be making for dinner.

I can't say why exactly, but the professor in a zoot suit is one of my favourite images from Futurama.
