If you take care of your CDs, they'll take care of you.
That's naive. CDs are selfish bastards who'll cut you the moment you show weakness.
That's only discs from one's Oi! collection.
Grossly untrue. Knew a guy who some kind of special edition of Rattle and Hum. He goes to do his dusting and stuff so he turns his back. Long story short, he's dead.
That's just cosmic justice for liking U2.

Maybe, but would a streamed version of that album kill you? Make you miserable, sure; perhaps even lose some friends. But it wouldn't kill.

I first read that as Rattie and Hum and well fuck Bono and U2 .
Maybe Ratty's actually in a killvan and that's where he's been all these months. Just going town to town, slaying those who need slaying.

In this case he needs to go to the source.

Huh—I always thought the A stood for asshat.

“Barnets” is a dead giveaway that the author isn’t American, huh.

My parents have a pool in their backyard and it is a frequent summer hangout for my sisters and I and our families and good ole' American AOR is often the soundtrack. We didn't grow up as fans of this music, but for some reason it's a good soundtrack to summer.

It's never gonna be my go to music. But if it's on in the background somewhere then it doesn't offend in any way.

That’s a good way of putting it.

When I was about 22 I went to a bar where a buddy of mine was tending at happy hour. He had just bought a cheap Foreigner best of and I realized I somehow knew all ten songs on it despite never actually being a fan or even really liking them. But none of them were hateful. Just sort of there.

I do genuinely like Boston’s debut album because it’s basically a perfectly evolved shark of 70s arena rock.
