Did your luxury tax reset at least?
I don't think my allowance changed at all, so no. At the age of 10 I should have known Manfred would ruin things in my life.

Better than most in running, below par for arm strength
Your tombstone material keeps expanding
We reach the parts other combos cannot reach
We beach the beachheads other armies cannot beach
We speak the tongues other mouths cannot speak

Have you considered a Steve Delabar-esque weighted ball routine?

I haven't. I think Mariano Rivera used to use one.

I never would have expected it, but MLB will make it to the end of its bizarro regular season. Who are your rooting interests in the "everyone plays except the velcro shoelace teams" playoffs? With the standard Anybody-But-the-Yankees disclaimer, I'm back the A's and the Jays in the AL (the new, happy-ish me is letting go of my Toronto hate) and the Padres in the NL. I'd be good with Tampa, too, mainly because I'm hoping they end up in Montreal sooner than later.

Assuming the rockies don't somehow scrap their way in, the father in law is a giants fan and the mother in law is a dodgers fan, so I'll begrudgingly support either or both of those teams, despite not liking either (assuming the Giants make it in at all). There aren't really any other teams I really wanna root for this year.
