That is on my list of "expired and not backed up" links. I can't help ya.
Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.

You want both discs or just part 1?

I'll upload part one now. Let me know if you need part 2.

big up!!!!!

Well, people, I need your help on this one, if you would be so kind!

clash - 1978-12-19 - music machine london ???????

http://www.megaupload.com/?d=OFPBTOBE

I've just got this show from one slsk mate (and I thank him here!), the show was labeled as 1978-12-19 - music machine, files were originally in wav format, and songs were not named. Of course, I consulted BMC immediately regarding this show, and saw this:
"they played an instrumental version of "My Way" according to Alan Parker cdr
- wanted -
Don't know anyone who has this - maybe it doesn't exist! All copies are in fact a crap copy of the Sort it Out CD".

There is no instrumental version on "my way" on this one for sure. I also consulted the tracklisting of Sort It Out CD, but the tracklisting is not the same. Checked out my copies of Music Machine shows from July '78 also, but I wouldn't say that this one is one of them, although, the tracklisting is similar, as with more or less any show from the On Parole Tour.

Also, I check out tracklistings of gigs listed on BMC from 1978., and again, could not find the same tracklisting as this one. What i concluded from the tracklisting of this show, this recording would rather be from On Parole than from Sort It Out Tour. I don't know from which show this recording is, but i don't think that's really from 1978-12-19, Music Machine.
But, as i sad earlier on this forum, I'm not an expert on the issue, nor pretend to be one, just a huge Clash fan, so, people, if anyone would like to comment and help on this one, please do so!

The recording itself is from the audience, and it is not of good quality. I transferred wav files to mp3 on 192kpb, and here is the tracklisting of this show, to make things little bit easier:

1 complete control
2 tommy gun
3 cheapskates
4 jail guitar doors
5 drug stubbing time
6 clash city rockers
7 white man
8 capitol radio
9 stay free
10 police & thieves-blitzkrieg bop
11 english civil war
12 safe european home
13 what's my name
14 english civil war
15 garageland
16 janie jones
17 i'm so bored
18 white riot

cheers!!!

It is, in fact 27-07-1978 Music Machine

Just compare the tuning noises at the beginning of Police and Thieves.

Thanks a lot, geraldmanns, i did not have 27-07-1978 MM show in my archive (1 out of 4 that I did not have), just downloaded it from the mega list, and listened to it, and you're right, it looks to me like the 27-07 MM show, too.

Thanks for helping me out and clarifying this, mate!

cheers!
