Cool. There's a guy who just always seemed to be where it was at. More than a Zelig figure, but it's remarkable how often he shows up in disparate stories.

Excellent - I'd been waiting for his other book (Culture Clash: Dread Meets Punk Rockers) to come down in price to something at least reasonable. I love Don Letts but not enough to spend $100 on it.

This looks good. Coincidentally I've just received my copy of Return of the Killer Draw by Don's brother Desmond. Apparently some inside stuff on the BAD story, I'll report any findings.

I messaged him on FB, he said I was in luck as he had a copy spare. I will send it on to you if you can't get hold of a copy mate.Marky Dread wrote: ↑10 Nov 2020, 6:56pmThat's out stock everywhere I've looked. Where did you find yours?

Did he beat Bernie to the book stores?
Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.

The publisher still doesn't list it. You rule, Bernie.

No worries mate. Might take me a week or two to read as it is a hefty old thing but I will send it on afterwards,Marky Dread wrote: ↑11 Nov 2020, 5:04amThanks mate that would be appreciated.
