That is a great comp.

Re: What Are you Listening to Right Now?
It's a good comp. Which is fair enough.
I'd probably pick a few hundred before that.

I think they were a Beatles cover band at one point. Really fun Beatles-esque, if that's your thing (as it is mine).

Brilliant that comment just reminded me of this. Which I haven't heard in an age.Inder wrote: ↑30 Nov 2020, 9:48pmFor sure, they've got "that Thamesbeat sound."Marky Dread wrote: ↑30 Nov 2020, 3:12pm

Hello,
Billie Joe Armstrong - No Fun Mondays.
This is a pretty straight forward cover of Police on my Back. The album contains covers done by Billie Joe Armstrong - no surprises and sound like Green Day versions of the tracks. I don't mean that in a negative way. It's worth catching.

Hello,
I haven't listened to this in awhile. I first heard Saul Williams in a Nike ad (some may recognize this track). The rest of the album is good but this track stands out.

Both great tracks. I've heard the Saul Williams track before. Very cool.

Hello,
Ezra Furman - Twelve Nudes. I returned to this as someone (Heston?) posted an Ezra Furman track in the Christmas songs thread. This album is said to be more guitar-ish but I don't know as I don't have any other albums by this fellow. I like his stuff here although I must admit I learned of him through a friend who also got his Master's from Furman University in Greenville, SC.
