A fucking sandwich? Are sprouts the same thing in North America as they are in the UK?Dr. Medulla wrote: ↑14 Nov 2020, 2:54pmI'm with Flex and Wolter. I won't seek sprouts out, but if they're on a sandwich or whatever, that's fine.

Re: What Are you Eating Right Now?
Ok, Brussels sprouts (Never heard them called sprouts without a modifier) fucking rule if prepared properly. Unfortunately, based on everyone I’ve every spoken to, no one tried anything but boiling them before about 2008, and that way is pure nasty.
Roasted or pan seared? Excellent.
Balsamic vinegar, some turmeric, salt, and pepper? Not too shabby. Add some onions and garlic? Ok.

Re: What Are you Eating Right Now?
It’s weird how basically everyone I knew seemed to figure them out at once when I was in my early 30s. Despised them my whole life until someone made them correctly.Flex wrote: ↑14 Nov 2020, 5:26pmagain, samesiesWolter wrote: ↑14 Nov 2020, 5:25pmOk, Brussels sprouts (Never heard them called sprouts without a modifier) fucking rule if prepared properly. I had them made ok once.
Re: What Are you Eating Right Now?
Day off tomorrow, a week ago I'd be tucking into a dirty donner and several cans of cheap lager.
Tonight it's kidney bean salad with mint and some other shit, peppermint tea for pudding. It's very nice to be fair.

Re: What Are you Eating Right Now?
Just made this turkey curry for tea tomorrow. Recipe from my personal trainer. I seem to have been using his recipes more than his training since March!
INGREDIENTS
1 tbsp olive oil
1 medium onion sliced
1 red pepper sliced
1 green pepper sliced
1 tsp chilli flakes
3 cloves garlic crushed or grated
3cm ginger, grated
3 tsp garam masala
2 tsp turmeric (optional)
500g cooked turkey, shredded or cubed
350ml passata
200ml coconut milk
Salt and pepper to taste
INSTRUCTIONS
Cook the onions and peppers in the oil over a gentle heat
in a large pan with the lid on for about 5 minutes, or until
softened but not browned.
Add the chilli, garlic, ginger, garam masala and turmeric
and fry gently for 2 more minutes. If the mixture gets dry
add a splash of boiling water.
Next stir in the turkey, passata, coconut milk, salt and
pepper and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat to low
and simmer for a further 10 minutes until the sauce has
thickened slightly and the turkey is hot through.
Serve with rice, naans and your favourite
accompaniments.

Sounds good Laxman.
Ive got ribs and grilled potatoes. Because of increased covid activity none of my sons friends are showing up so it will last two days.
