Popped in my mind this morning that there has to be a Jewish beer line that plays off the word Hebrew. There's just gotta be, right? Yes, yes there is: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shmaltz_Brewing_Company
Oh yeah, they were big in the early craft beer scene. I remember seeing them all the time around 2008-2010, but don't see them too much anymore. There's also an oldish school Utah brewery that plays up the Mormon heritage of the state. The "Polygamy Porter's" tagline is "Why have just one?" https://wasatchbeers.com/our-beers/ Though looking at their lineup, the porter appears to be the only one that does.

Of course modern day craft breweries push the envelope, often in ways that are far less charming.
Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.

That is a positively brilliant tagline.

It's snowing, which put me in a brandy mood, so I walked the 1.2 km to the neighbourhood LCBO. And another bottle of dessert whisky for the Boss (who treats it like the sippinest whisky ever made; I have no idea how something that sweet can be nursed for a half hour). Anyway, brandy can only be enjoyed in winter, but it is very mellowing.

edit: Yeah, motherfucking brandy buzz mid-afternoon, baby!

Interesting... I'm going to try that, microwaving a mug of rum!
Well, 'tis the season for mulled wine, right?

In Wisconsin we drink brandy all year round.

Emotionally, it's always winter there. :shifty:

That's probably true for a large portion of the state.
