Pepper - Side A - Round 1
Released on May 26th, 1967 and the first LP to have the same track listing on both sides of the Atlantic.
The 1st side is really, really good (in my opinion).

Mr Kite never quite did it for me.
There's a tiny, tiny hopeful part of me that says you guys are running a Kaufmanesque long con on the board

Rigby's Raiders are going all in on the path-breaking "She's Leaving Home," right? I'm with you, radical conventionalists.

Nah, it's not half the song ER is. My favourite this side is quite possibly the Ringo song.Dr. Medulla wrote: ↑22 Dec 2020, 11:27amRigby's Raiders are going all in on the path-breaking "She's Leaving Home," right? I'm with you, radical conventionalists.

JUDAS! If we don't support the Beatles' chamber music, we reject what made them so pathbreaking.Heston wrote: ↑22 Dec 2020, 11:50amNah, it's not half the song ER is. I'm withholding my vote to see if I can preserve "She's Leaving Home."

This album is profoundly overrated, is all I can think. Still pretty good because Beatles, but a huge drop off after both Rubber Soul and Revolver, IMO.

Grr, got it wrong. Again. Voted for Kite but should've gone for WaLHFMF. Not that it's bad at all, I just really love this side .

Like When I'm 64, only Lennon's backing vocals redeem it for me.

Re: Pepper - Side A - Round 1
Those are the worst part for me, not because of Lennon himself, but those are the parents' lyrics in which they out themselves as being totally at fault. I think there might be some personal issues here.

She's Leaving Home makes me recoil. Worst thing they ever put out IMO.
