Mixed feelings today, enjoyed the last 2 days amazingly, best Christmas for a long, long time. Now though, the realisation that I'm back in work tomorrow, going back to days of wanting to spend quality time with my family again is making me feel a bit low. On a more positive angle, that low feeling is brought about by how great we made this Christmas and it has been fantastic.
It ain't all bad mate. ;)
How are you doing mate?

My wife likes to keep the season going until about the middle of January, which helps a bit. We still have the tree up and watch the holiday movies we didn't get to before the 25th. She sites the later date of Ukrainian Xmas (whatever that is) as an excuse. Maybe that would help?

Work finished or kids in bed?

I finished work today, about to pour a port, brandy and lemonade.

I figured that in these unprecidented times, 3 days was all we could afford.

I'm out of here at 5 today and then off until the 28th. Have to make a brief check in and then off again until the 4th. I can't wait!

Shop closes at 4, good clean down and out by 5 (hopefully.) Enjoy mate, I'll be pouring an extra large whisky this time tomorrow.

It's a reminder that despite everything, Uncle Inder loves and forgives us.
