We reach the parts other combos cannot reach
We beach the beachheads other armies cannot beach
We speak the tongues other mouths cannot speak

I only knew those from comic book ads.
Never found any of those in any store in my shitty hometown.

The lifespan of pretty much any toy I had was, at best, two years. I was a bit of a psychochild.revbob wrote: ↑25 Dec 2020, 7:41pmIm pretty sure I broke him too.

I never owned a single GI Joe action figure/toy of any kind that I can recall. I preferred Star Wars stuff. I had the Elastic Hulk and Spider-Man though. Ripped the fuckin’ arms off both of them.

Yeah, they were filled with a thickened corn syrup. Worth a lot today because so few survived intact.Dr. Medulla wrote: ↑25 Dec 2020, 8:26pmThey were filled with a goo, no?Kimmelweck wrote: ↑25 Dec 2020, 8:14pmI never owned a single GI Joe action figure/toy of any kind that I can recall. The premise of the toy is pretty much a dare to rip off the arms. No way it would have lasted more than two weeks with me.Kimmelweck wrote: ↑25 Dec 2020, 8:40pmYeah, they were filled with a thickened corn syrup. Yeah that's probably how long mine lasted. I edited in a link to an article about them in my post above. Made a bit of a mess, so they were discontinued. Stretch Armstrong was another one.Dr. Medulla wrote: ↑25 Dec 2020, 8:46pmThe premise of the toy is pretty much a dare to rip off the arms.
