Yeah I did that late last night. My only internet is my phone. Try a Zoom session. Sometimes just seeing someone else such as a family member makes a difference.

I second gkbill's Zoom (or Facetime) suggestion, but I encourage his mother looking into a blood oxygen meter, especially if he's slow in recovering.Marky Dread wrote: ↑01 Jan 2021, 7:20pmHe lives alone and his mum is delivering meals to him daily. Re: Coronavirus Thread of Doom
Best wishes marky. I hope he starts feeling better real soon. That’s scary as shit with those symptoms.
I got tested two days ago to confirm I was stu negative. Between my wife and I, we got tested three times in December solely to be extra precautious around the holiday. Sure enough, it came back positive. Fortunately, I have no symptoms. Wife and kid are getting tested today. Daughter has a cough at night but that could be seasonal since she’s had that before this time of year.
I’m racking my brains on how the hell I could have gotten it and all signs are pointing to Christmas with the in laws. That was the only massless extended indoor hangout. Everyone (there were seven of us) was supposed to have quarantined and got tested but only we did. So now they are all getting tested. Beyond that, I’ve been in two buildings for less than five minutes, masked, in the last two weeks.

Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.
