Re: The Future of the Republican Party
Wow, his explanation is sickening. Does he seriously think that's a valid excuse or explanation for such a thing?

Re: The Future of the Republican Party
It's suggestive of the vocabulary that contemporary Republicans draw from these days. For all their accusations about Democrats being leftists, you won't have many (any?) Democrats looking to Lenin or Stalin for their talking points, yet Republicans just can't help but find a means of expression in the Third Reich.

You also won't see democrats falling on their knees before somebody they want to effectively be their all-powerful king. Not that I like democrats but for all the criticism against them loving big government, they obviously don't like it as much as republicans do.Dr. Medulla wrote: ↑14 Jan 2021, 11:17amIt's suggestive of the vocabulary that contemporary Republicans draw from these days. There ain't a Republican alive who has no problem with the coercive powers of the state as long as it's used against their enemies.Kory wrote: ↑14 Jan 2021, 3:08pmYou also won't see democrats falling on their knees before somebody they want to effectively be their all-powerful king. Unless he's going around telling everyone that he's a proud (or outraged) AIG customer, I just don't see where they'd care whether he's a Nazi. Nobody would know.revbob wrote: ↑15 Jan 2021, 12:05amMaybe because his social media posts seem to indicate he is a fucking nut job and they dont want the liability. Kind of long at just over 9 minutes, but I think it's well said and worth a listen.
