Didn’t the Revolting Cocks do the song “Gila Copter” with him in like 92?

Yeah, and he alsodid that song with REM for the x files soundtrack. Dudes was a 90s collab machine.

That X Files Soundtrack is 90s legendary.
Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.

Didn't know this one. I need to explore more RC back catalog.

I'm seriously glorifying the 90s on my SHRR blog with a series of posts called Insanely Great 90s Songs You're Not Sick of. Currently up to 1992. Taking suggestions for entries. Snuck in a Swans number in the latest post.

Cool lists, CK. You've got the general rock side covered quite thoroughly. With 93 coming up, I think this song holds up really well and I don't think it gets played much these days.

This really brings me back to working in New York and listening to WBAI. Not Labrish, mind. Though I had listened to that on occasion.

(those entries look great, btw, CK. I'll dig around a bit and see what suggestions I can come up with)
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a bowl of soup
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a rolling hoop
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a ton of lead
Wiggle - you can raise the dead
