Ah, of course, was going off the original list but a muddle occurred.
The good revbob it is then, enjoyed the first set of 5 you posted, looking forward to the next bunch.

I get a perverse joy out of looking at the Wiggy Giggy lyrics on genius.com and seeing a huge block of:
Wiggy giggy giggy wiggy wiggy giggy giggy
Wiggy giggy giggy wiggy wiggy giggy giggy
Wiggy giggy giggy wiggy wiggy giggy giggy
Wiggy giggy giggy wiggy wiggy giggy giggy
Putting a little stick about. Putting the frighteners on flash little twerps

I guess I will have to go back a few pages to find out what all this Wiggy giggy-ing is about. Seems I completely missed that.

Several regular commenters haven't chimed in on Olaf's (revbob, Heston, Marky), so we should let them have their say.BitterTom wrote: ↑16 Mar 2021, 1:21pmAll yours then Doc.Dr. Medulla wrote: ↑16 Mar 2021, 1:15pmI think I was after Olaf last time, actually.BitterTom wrote: ↑16 Mar 2021, 1:14pmAh, of course, was going off the original list but a muddle occurred.

I'd forgotten about this thread. I'll check Olaf's later on.Dr. Medulla wrote: ↑16 Mar 2021, 1:46pmSeveral regular commenters haven't chimed in on Olaf's (revbob, Heston, Marky), so we should let them have their say.BitterTom wrote: ↑16 Mar 2021, 1:21pmAll yours then Doc.Dr. Medulla wrote: ↑16 Mar 2021, 1:15pmI think I was after Olaf last time, actually.

Apologies, didn't want to come across badly or sound like I was ignoring certain reviews, only intended to make sure the thread didn't lose its pace again with the weekly postings and end up with a week, or longer with no new reviews.Dr.

Am Landwehrkanal
I'm with doc in thinking the language barrier is limiting the effect of the song. I get a maudlin feel from this. 6/10
Nina Hagen - Keine Macht Fur Niemand
Not a fan of Nina but this works well. I'm liking this. 8/10
Stereo Total - Cannibale
Real great fun this track. I like how it switches from kinda cute to menace. 9/10
Josh - Cordula Grün
This one didn't really grab me. Couldn't get into it at all. 3/10
Seeed - Wonderful Life
I remember Black's original of this which is a bit on the mawkish side. But this version is great and a good juxtaposition of sound. 9/10

I will get on Olaf's picks tonight, as was my intention. Tuesday night is music night in the Heston household.
There's a tiny, tiny hopeful part of me that says you guys are running a Kaufmanesque long con on the board

No apologies necessary. It's hard traffic copping this thread when the momentum has slowed so much. Keeping track of who is participating is hard stuff.BitterTom wrote: ↑16 Mar 2021, 2:06pmApologies, didn't want to come across badly or sound like I was ignoring certain reviews, only intended to make sure the thread didn't lose its pace again with the weekly postings and end up with a week, or longer with no new reviews.Dr. Medulla wrote: ↑16 Mar 2021, 1:46pmSeveral regular commenters haven't chimed in on Olaf's (revbob, Heston, Marky), so we should let them have their say.BitterTom wrote: ↑16 Mar 2021, 1:21pmAll yours then Doc.
