I think we're still waiting on Rev's homework from last semester.

I don't think so. It has been a slow turnaround.

I'm behind, I've been working 11 hour days for the last three weeks. I'll have to turn my work in a little late.

Ahh right okay cheers. I get lost with stuff as I spend a lot of time on the remasters. I completely forget about whole threads. Except the KISS thread which just gives me nightmares.

I appreciate that Olaf is sticking with German artists that aren't the Scorpions or Scorpions adjacent but I dont know German so I'm at a slight disadvantage because I normally put a lot of stock in the lyrics of a song especially if the music isnt grabbing me. I'm reviewing these without watching the videos, the Stereo Total is the only video worth watching anyway.

Einstürzende Neubauten - Am Landwehrkanal: This would no doubt be much better for me if I understood German. 6/10

Nina Hagen - Keine Macht Fur Niemand: I'm not familiar with the original. I like it, especially when it picks up the pace, I like the energy. Reminds me a little of Fermin Muguruza. 7/10

Stereo Total - Cannibale: The video is obviously great. But this time I just listened. I like female French vocals. Great energy for a duo and I tend to like my music a little rough around the edges. Sadly I see that one of the members died of breast cancer a month ago at age 57. This is cool stuff 9/10

Josh - Cordula Grün: I dont enjoy this but I see why it was a hit (a lot of people like crap). 0/10. I went back and checked, very interesting that this was Heston's favorite of the bunch

Seeed - Wonderful Life: Not familiar with the original. Vox are in english so no language barrier for me, not really my speed though. I did hear some horns for a few seconds which I like. 4/10

Since I put so much effort into this assignment may I be excused from my prior missing assignments?

I tried a bit of a something-for-everybody strategy this time which worked quite well.

Guess what, I included one for you too. ;) And I'm aware it's a bit cheesy but I genuinely love the song.
