I don't dislike the Braves, but I dislike their fans. The tomahawk chop is terrible.
Entirely. It was especially distasteful Monday's game, on Indigenous People's Day.

We have friends in Atlanta and they took us to a game in 2019. It was even more awful to witness in person. The crowd was probably 90% white.

That's what I say to Dodger fans, when people ask me why I don't like the Dodgers.

We beach the beachheads other armies cannot beach
We speak the tongues other mouths cannot speak

But the Dodgers are your NL team, being in LA-ish and all!

The death of Ray Fosse brought this "classic" to mind:

If you've never watched it, at least take a moment to watch a few minutes: bad acting, cheesy wigs, cheap sets, but it all works because Pete Rose was bad, cheesy, cheap, and many more things.

Oh my, no, I've never heard of it. But I've made a note to now! Also: fuck you, Pete Rose.

Was the intent to make me hate him more? Because even I have a limit on that.

I would love for MLB to officially recognize Ichiro as the all-time hits leader, both because it's true and it might finally destroy Rose.

It's bad in all the right ways.

McCullers out for the ALCS. Huuuuge break for the Red Sox.

I'm cautiously optimistic about the ALCS—far more so than against TB—but I'm inclined to think that whoever wins the game tonight is going to be the champ. Both the Giants and Dodgers are monsters.
