Top 5 tracks from Snap! - The Jam

1. Town Called Malice
2. Down in the Tube Station at Midnight
3. Going Underground
4. Start!
5. That's Entertainment (Demo)

Prefer the longer version of "Tube Station" on the AMC album but too good not to include.

Top 5 tracks from "The Harder They Come" original soundtrack - Various

1. Pressure Drop - The Maytals
2. Johnny Too Bad - The Slickers
3. 007 (Shanty Town) - Desmond Dekker
4. Sweet & Dandy - The Maytals
5. Many Rivers to Cross - Jimmy Cliff
I think I brought this up before, but I finally got around to listening to the soundtrack proper a few years ago and was surprised that I already knew pretty much every song.
Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.

Going Underground
When You're Young
Strange Town
Town Called Malice

Superb comp, maybe my favourite "hits" album ever.

Fabulous comp and one where I could pick a different 5 and still be happy.

Down In The Tube Station at Midnight
When You're Young
Smithers-Jones
Man In The Corner Shop
Thick as Thieves

This could change in an hour. One hell of a compilation, pretty much every track a winner.

Exactly. Maybe the best singles comp ever released.
