Re: The Beatles song you're thinking about right now thread
I know the Myth of Yoko Destroying The Beatles has been dismantled, but there's a line in Newsradio where - and I can't even remember the specific context - Dave Foley says something like "some people think Yoko wasn't completely responsible for destroying the Beatles". Anyways, the line read on completely always kills me, for some reason.
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a bowl of soup
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a rolling hoop
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a ton of lead
Wiggle - you can raise the dead
Pex Lives!

When Lloyd Cole and the Commotions announced their split, the official statement had the line, "We blame Yoko."

I'm pre-Yoko.

When I learned of the run-time, I feared there'd be a whooole lot of boring stuff in there. Like, the Anthology documentary was around 11 hours and it felt overly long.

Well after reading that article I'm going to try to sit through the first part before the Turkey Day festivities....which will include "amid acres of meandering chit-chat" with people I rarely ever see or want to see.Dr. Medulla wrote: ↑25 Nov 2021, 7:49amhttps://www.theguardian.com/tv-and-radi ... our-sanity

Ha! I'll bet a lot of people have uncles with very strong opinions about the Beatles that may or may not involve BLM, vaccination, and/or climate change.coffeepotman wrote: ↑25 Nov 2021, 9:03amWell after reading that article I'm going to try to sit through the first part before the Turkey Day festivities....which will include "amid acres of meandering chit-chat" with people I rarely ever see or want to see.Dr. Medulla wrote: ↑25 Nov 2021, 7:49amhttps://www.theguardian.com/tv-and-radi ... our-sanity
