Are those grits? And if so, why aren't you kissing them?
These were buttery grits. Clover Grill in NOLA. Go there. It’s good.
Cowink, I just checked today, when I move I'll be like 500 miles from N.O. I thought it was shorter, but only 90 minute flight.
These guys would just walk there.

That’s firmly in Revhoy territory.
Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense . If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.

Any other vegetarians/vegans out there? My partner has been vegan for nearly 30 years. I’ve been veggie for nearly 2 years.

Just saw this. I've been vegetarian (not counting eggs or my fish oil omega-3 supplements) for a couple years, as well. I'm not militant about it—will eat meat if it's served to me—but trying to be more consistent in my basic philosophy of anti-violence. Don't especially miss meat, either. Occasionally I'll get a craving for a big ol' greasy burger or thick steak, but, meh, I'm fine without it.

The wife of one of the Boss' co-workers baked a bunch of Christmas cookies. I think it's the best shortbread I've ever had—must be 50% unicorn butter.

Finishing off the popcorn the older one brought back from the pictures yesterday. Too gross for her.

Kids these days! When I was young, the popcorn box said "poison" on it. But we still ate it because we knew there were starving kids in Africa.
