Kraftwerk was completely unbelievably fantastic! And it was in 3-D, everyone was wearing 3d glasses and it was just mesmerizing. Don't miss it if you get a chance.

Camp Cope in August, Carly Rae Jepsen in October, Bartees Strange in December. Looks like 5 shows this year which is pretty good with COVID and baby issues. I did have tickets to see Sincere Engineer, but COVID stuff was getting dicey so I skipped it (still bought a ticket to support the band).

Jenny B reminds me I need to see Violent Femmes before I die. I didn't see any west coast shows tho.
Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.

Re-bought Dead Can Dance tix since they reinitialized the American tour. I've not got my hopes up.

Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a rolling hoop
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a ton of lead

It was a cool show, very intimate setting with 3 performers trading off their own songs. The two women were more singer/songwriter, the gentleman was definitely playing more in a country vein.

I might be in one of these pics.
