Having spent some time in the trade, as the world's laziest labourer, i cannot conceive of a world without the builders breakfast. This one feels personal. The woke is out of hand.

If they don't catcall anymore, the trade is truly dead.

If their heads are all stuck in history books, as seems the case, then i can only sadly conclude that that noble tradition has fallen prey to the woketards too.

No meetup, my understanding is he's out in the burbs and busy with kids and what not. I presume from his rare appearances round here that he's got his hands full and probably hates a few of you (you know who you are). :shifty:

Living in an older neighbourhood where nobody has a front lawn and modest backyards, we're insulated from that kind of pathology.

The missus convinced me to go to the Renaissance fair today. When we walked in there was a minstrel playing Come out Ye Black and Tans. It was downhill from there. There was a woman dressed as QE1, the person not the ship. I told her I preferred the French method for royalty.

Way back in undergrad days, a friend wanted to participate in a renaissance fair. They told her she'd have to be a serving wench. She said fuck no, she wanted to do combat. She walked away.

I will say I was surprised by the number of African Americans there participating as cos players.

And apparently wearing elf ears is a thing too.
