I was hoping someone's heart would skip a beat or two. It was picking that or michaelt.

Mission accomplished.

(I just experienced a post-covid cobweb brain moment as it took me a full minute to remember the phrase "mission accomplished" in response).

W. made sure no one would ever feel a mission was actually accomplished.

Close competition from weller's right-out-of-central-casting New York accent and Wolter's neo-Benjamin Franklin hair.

I had no idea weller was a crusty Long Islander!
Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.

And he was at Bonds. Just perfect.

I took some good screenshots, I'll PM everyone to see if anyone has objections to having their visage on screen. Or you can let me know here if you want.

I'm skeptical that they were good screenshots, but I'm fine—y'all know I look like Fabio.

ugh double posts. one would think I knew how to post, one would obviously be wrong. shrugs.

Edits galore: I have no problem with any screen shots or copies of the event. If you want to force people to look at my face, that's on you, lol.

You can take the new yorker out of new york ....
And for the record, I do NOT have an accent, I speak properly. Its everyone else who has an accent.
As for Wolter's hair, I am not one who can comment on that. Looking at my head from the back it looks like Underdog's shirt.
Jenny's glasses (and Jenny herself) were definitely a highlight for me.

My crustiness came through, i'm happy about that.

That night in NYC to see the Clash at Bonds was quite possibly the best day of my life, hanging with my older brother and then seeing the Clash with him.
So, to sum up, I reckon I am a stereotype of some sort.

I can live with that.
