I just heard two of the worst sings ever while in the hardware store.

Song 1: the chorus was something like "we could be the healing we could be the flower in the gun". If sounded like a mix horrible mix of gnu country and modern pop, and some other horrible things thrown in. My how far Michael Franti has fallen.

Song 2, you know em, you hate em (excepting Heston and Tom) yes Starship or whatever the fuck they refer to themselves as. "Nothing's Gonna Stop Us".

I need to be more like Doc and where earbuds in stores.
That's from the movie Mannequin, a believe. Terribly classic 80's soundtrack video with clips of the movie cut into the video. Grace Slick is a mannequin who comes to life to duet with Mickey Thomas. It's terrible all the way around.
It was a horrible experience for me and yet no deaths were reported.

Hello,

Loggins.jpg
Oh man, I want to send this to a guy I work with that is a huge Loggins fan. Unfortunately, he's also super christian, so it probably wouldn't go over well.
All the more reason to do it. After all he can only forgive you. ;)

I read that to mean you also murdered all the witnesses.

Hello,

Loggins.jpg
I'm good with the song from Caddyshack (mainly because it was in Caddyshack) so does that make me a heretic or gnostic or what?
Dude was the king of the 80's soundtrack:

"I'm Alright" - Caddyshack
"Footloose" - Footloose
"Danger Zone" - Top Gun
"Meet Me Half Way" - Over the Top
"Nobody's Fool" Caddyshack II
A shockingly listenable EP right there.
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a bowl of soup
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a rolling hoop
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a ton of lead
Wiggle - you can raise the dead

Read this and thought, "ah shit, rev is going to rip into my shit again." Fortunately, I left somewhat unscathed, though I've stood behind the Mannequin song in the past (even rewrote it as a love poem to Heston) and I'll continue to do so. Don't know the other song, but I'll give it a listen.
Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.

This puzzles me, even for you, I mean seriously, no redeemingqualitieswhatsoever (the song I mean). I now predict you will like the other song too.

You might as well pull the trigger because not even you and your AR-15 could make me listen to those 5 songs willingly.
Kenny Loggins gives me the heebie jeebies.

I also would be remiss if I didn't mention that it was 57 years ago today that 55,000 people attended Shea Stadium not to see the awful Mets, but to be a part of (I think) the first-ever stadium rock n roll show, starring those 4 lads from Liverpool. 55,000 people, in a huge outdoor stadium, most of them screaming, trying to hear the Beatles play ... check out the amp stacks they had. Bar bands have better and more equipment than they did. Not their best performance by any means but seeing John play the organ with his elbow and George and Paul cracking up is worth it for me. If you have a spare half hour, its worth a look.

It wasn’t as good as my Space “Me and You vs The World” rewrite but a worthy endeavor:

Coulda been worse—coulda been backstage passes.
