My faith in this year's Crew is pretty much gone after a gutless series where they dropped 3 of 4 against Miami, including a few 9th inning implosions. They need the Astros to sweep Philadelphia, which I guess could happen. Pitching matchups favor Houston, while Milwaukee have Woodruff and Burnes out there against Arizona.
And even if they did get in, it's hard to see them not get curb-stomped by the Jennydinals.

I hate the Astros with the same intensity I once held for the lowly Red Sox.

You guys suck
If the Yankees win the WS, I will sincerely congratulate you and Mimi and Ratty (if he can hear me from his bunker). But, dear lord, I hope it doesn't come to that.
I will sincerely wish Mimi and ratty the best. Revbob knows what he did.

I dont like the Yankees chances. Theyve righted the ship a bit but barring Judge and a few guys every so often there's not much to fear in that lineup unless some go on post season streaks. And the bullpen is far weaker than it was earlier in the season.

It's hard not to see the smart money in the AL is on the Astros.

Much as I'm hoping for a likeable Jays team, their run differential is pretty meh if you take out their playground bullying of the Red Sox this season. They look good on paper, but they're less than their record, I think.

We all "post in the KISS thread," so to speak. Nobody takes that stuff seriously, tho.

Tony LaRussa announces his retirement (again) to spend more times drunk and passed out at traffic lights.

Okay, it's drizzling in Baltimore, but it doesn't look like there's more than 500 people in the park.
