Tony Adams CD single

Post by Marky Dread »

Anybody got this they could share please. I'm particularly after the track "Techno D-Day (Summer 99)".

I found a 256k mp3 Tony Adams 4 song EP on Soulseek with a live version of Techno D-day. They are tagged in a different alphabet so I am not certain of the exact titles.

1. Tony Adams 4:18
2. Techno D-Day (Live, could be Summer 99 version) 4:54
3. Yalla Yall 7:00
4. Time & Tide 4:06

I'll take it if no one else has the cd. Thanks.

Hi Marky
I have the CD single but it doesn't have Techno on it.

Hello mate I have the 1 track promo with the radio edit of Tony Adams but not the 4 track single with Techno D-Day.
And the version on Discogs is £65.00 too much just to buy the one song I require as the other tracks are on the Yalla Yalla cd single. There was another seller on Ebay that wanted over £100.00.

Another question does anyone know what gig in Summer 99 that Techno D-Day and The X-ray Style are from?

I’m going to take a listen, unless anyone beats me to it, but both tracks were part of the BBC recording of the Glastonbury show, so maybe from there.

I think my guess was right for X Ray Style. I can't compare the Techno D Day versions because I don't have the Tony Adams single, but must be a fair chance that they are from the same recording. Strange that the Tony Adams single passed me by.

Yeah I thought it was Glastonbury and this footage starts off with Techno D-Day. But again would be great to get it confirmed 100%.

Thank you for that Marky.
This is odd as it did not show up on my initial search of Discogs?? Probably the drugs.🤔
Bizarre.
