So what's your concert schedule looking like?

I think that's in his past. I saw him in 2014 and he joked about it. Someone in the crowd kept asking for "Summer of 69" and he finally joked that yes, their names sound very similar and then he told the story about when he got upset in Nashville about it, adding there was more to why he got upset than just that (I forget the details). He concluded by saying he liked Bryan Adams and proceeded to play a solid version of "Run to You".

The Ryan Adams show was great. He played for 3 hours, no intermission. 33 songs. Just him and an acoustic guitar (though he did play piano on a couple of songs). He sounded great and was very engaged with the crowd. He's been talking up his newfound sobriety a lot (1 year) and therapy and exercise (claims to be running 5-6 miles a day). I truly hope he's getting his life together.

From 2014.
While "Summer of '69" might remain Bryan Adams' signature song, I've always preferred this one.

I prefer Bryan Adams' cover of "4'33"."

I hear his cover of Black Diamond is better than the original.

Knowing Ryan Adams, he's probably covered Black Diamond at some point. He did a sci-fi metal concept album back in 2010.

I'm pretty sure Bryan has never covered it.revbob wrote: ↑20 Oct 2022, 11:50amI meant Bryan.WestwayKid wrote: ↑20 Oct 2022, 10:11amKnowing Ryan Adams, he's probably covered Black Diamond at some point. He did a sci-fi metal concept album back in 2010.

Funnily enough, they did a free jazz rendition of it.

Summer of 69 is a pile of shit. And give us Limeys credit for not making it a hit. It never scraped the top 40 over here.
