Funny sketch comedy that's funny

Sweet action for kids 'n' cretins. Marjoram and capers.

Speaking of the Pythons, a lovely interview with Eric Idle, who's revealed he's survived pancreatic cancer: https://www.theguardian.com/culture/202 ... tic-cancer

We say See How They Run last night. It's good. Reese Shearsmith has one of the lead rolls and I was reminded how insanely funny the League of Gentlemen was. I've got to figure out where it's streaming in the US, but I'm thinking it's due for a rewatch.

I always mix this team up with those dipshits Matt Lucas and David Walliams.

Right on. League of Gentlemen has aged poorly in several aspects but can be watched if you turn off some of your compassion, but the work of Walliams and Lucas is too stupid and ignorant in its bones to have anything to help make up for all of its grotesque representations of minorities. I'm watching Psychoville now, which is the middle ground between The League and the fantastic anthology show Inside Number 9, which is my favourite TV of the decade.

My history class is talking about brainwashing tomorrow—one of my favourite historical topics—so, in addition to the reading, I've suggested they watch this:

Eugene Levy as Lenin kills me every time.

Why Kevin Macdonald is the comedic patron saint of all insecure dorks.

Just got funny bones. I'll sometimes, to break the monotony of weights, count reps in a Kevin MacDonald voice, usually near the "pour out the milk-a." character.
