Excellent Hugh album.
I am loving this album and had it pretty much on repeat for a few weeks now

My only criticism is Hugh has done all the instruments himself including the drums and as much as i think that is quite incredible it also has it downfalls i don't know if you had noticed the same Marky. What did the Clash say any band is only as good as the drummer and a good drummer is lacking and needed here.

But apart from that a very enjoyable listen and they sounded great played live.

Yes I realised this. However the basic structures of the tracks didn't need anything fancy from a dedicated drummer. Hugh does just fine. The tracks are all strong and sound great. I've not witnessed these tracks live and maybe in a live setting the drums sound more powerful. I like the album a lot.

Juliana Riolino, All Blue. Okay, a backstory to how I stumbled upon this. A Subaru ad that's been running here of late:

I was struck by what a strong and confident voice she has, like one of those 60s/70s country pop singers like Dolly Parton. I investigated and found out the song was commissioned just for the commercial and hasn't been released, but the singer is an alt-country performer from Toronto who recently released her first album. And it's really fucking good. Flex, I think, would gnaw on this like a dog with a bone.
I'm quite late on this, but holy shit this rules. She is entering the rotation

 It's an album that plays in my head even if I haven't fired up iTunes. What a voice.

*sniff sniff* Yes, it does seem apocalyptic.

I've been listening to this Babyshambles album the last few days, but with the song order in a different order so the singles are not so close to each other.

Something about Shotter's Nation. Got a lot of plays from me.
