New Band SNAPBLADES

SNAPBLADES are a Punk band from York consisting of my self (Smell ex segrëgates) and Gottie from Snakerattlers. Our debut E.P is available on black and splatter 12inch vinyl from

It's a project by 2 players and so live we use a guitar/bass backing track with live drums and vocals. The band will not exist on streaming sites or social media with the only internet presence being a you tube channel...as selling VHS is a step to far even for this idiotic plan! The anti social media stance is trying to see if a band can exist without algorithms and what's become a likes competition, we've tried to achieve this by sending physical cd promo packs to various media outlets with limited success...it's going to be a long slog to get this to work... however we will perceiver untill we are forced back in to the digital age....

We've had one rehearsal released a 6 track E.P, recorded another 4 for the first full album and played 1 gig.

It's simple angry punk rock, you may like it you may not.

Possibly in future recording, but the idea of keeping it as a 2 piece is to remove the usual bullshit of band members letting the band down...it's different but it works and will get better. That footage is the 2nd time we played together. We recorded the bass and guitars so we are essentially playing everything. Cheers
