The main differences between 7" version (2:46) and the one that appeared on Clash On Broadway / Super Black Maket Clash / Sound System Box / The Singles Box (3:13) to my ears are:

1) The first two seconds ("Cool" + two drum hits) only on the 7" version
2) CD version has more sound effects but not a bass line from (2:24) unique to 7" version.
3) 7" version fades out.

Maybe 7" version is the first remix of the song, I sit and and wait for your contributions on the subject.

Great, cheers Gerald. I tried laying the vocal over the rock version a while back but wasn't as successful as this. I'm assuming you've used extraction tools?

Yeah, the same I used for CTC. Had to make speed correction and pitch correction, too.
